Septimus, born in 1129, is one of the seven brothers of Octavius, Baron of Tetran. He is also the priest at his brother's shire, having accompanied Octavius back to Naroni following the wedding of Cambrin of Sarona and Lileina of Hoprine in 1157.
Despite his status as a priest, Septimus is not an ideal of saintly behavior--notably, he is the father of Lonel Wythleit, son of Ailede Dephwain, as well as Sieron Minara, son of Geneva of Bandera.
Notable Quotes:
"Apparently, telling the countess that I'd like to anoint her with my holy water is sexual harassment."
--explaining to Medea why he no longer is the priest at Valcria, from "In Which Octavius Lives for a Moment"
