Evaleith, born in 1164, is the daughter of Adwyn Ladell and Honora Carpion. Her mother left her and her father when she was a year old; following this, her father took her wherever he went, long voyages included. As a result of this, Evaleith is quite well-traveled.

Following her father's incarceration in 1160, Evaleith returned to her hometown in Aythwingshire, Carvallon, where she made inquiries as to her mother's whereabouts while supporting herself as a prostitute. She eventually learned that her mother had gone to Dovia; when Evaleith got there, she learned that Honora had then gone to Naroni.

Evaleith arrived in Veldora, Naroni, in 1164. With the help of Ceidrid Wythleit, Evaleith eventually tracked down her mother, as well as her stepfather and their children. At first, Honora denied Evaleith in front of Adonis and Ceidrid, then told her to go home to her father. However, Evaleith's half-brother Hadrinian overheard the conversation and eventually told Evaleith and Adonis what he knew. She has since been on speaking terms with her mother's family, and with her mother herself before Honora's death in 1167.

Evaleith married Ceidrid in December of 1164.

She is a tough individual who can be rather mean, but on the inside she is quite sensitive.
