Norwan (1123-1158) was the first husband of Thetis Larona. He and Thetis were married in 1154, as he had accepted her as payment for her uncle's debt to him. Shortly after that, he whisked her off to Naroni with Prince Roderick's party.
Norwan proved to be a monstrous husband to Thetis, to the point at which Lord Severin of Veldora felt the need to intervene and bring Thetis to carry out her pregnancy at his castle, where both she and her baby would be safe from Norwan. Thetis gave birth to twins Evera and Byrn in November of 1155.
Following the birth, Thetis and Byrn returned to Norwan, while Evera was sent to live with Florian and Electra Tumekrin, as Norwan only expected one baby and the son seemed to be the safer choice to present to him.
Norwan then left Thetis alone sexually, until Byrn died in May of 1158 after being kicked in the head by a horse. After this, he resumed raping her, determined to get another son. Thetis did get pregnant, but with the child of the now-widowered Florian. In order to protect the baby, Thetis went to live with Florian, prepared to return after giving birth.
Norwan, however, died in December of 1158, having been strangled by Vron.
