1. Up until the middle of her second trimester, Laveria was convinced that Severin was going to be a girl. She started to believe otherwise when she decided that a girl would have mixed things up a bit instead of kicking the same damn place over and over.

2. As a result of her extensive travels, Laveria is the only character in Kingdom of Naroni who has any tattoos. She has three: a bird on the small of her back that she got on a whim after she discovered she was pregnant, a sun and moon symbol just above her right hip that she got done as a girl, and Lonriad's initials on her left ass-cheek.

3. Laveria is fluent in fifteen different languages.

4. When Laveria left Lonriad's castle, she stole his favorite pair of boots. She still keeps them in a chest under her bed. To this day, Lonriad believes that one of his dogs ate them.

5. Against all odds, Laveria gets along great with Viridis. The two of them regularly ask Severin about each other and even write on occasion.

6. Laveria is not legally allowed to set foot in Dovia anymore. She spent a few months in prison in 1151 after her husband died under suspicious circumstances (she herself was innocent of the crime). Lonriad managed to get her pardoned, but Farilon thought she'd caused enough trouble as it was, so he had her banished.

7. Laveria has a slight cougar crush on Falidor, but she has no intention of ever acting on it--especially not now that he's her grandson-in-law.

8. Although she didn't dare tell him, Laveria started considering possible new wives for Severin mere months after Alina's death--not because she thought he should be ready, but because she was worried he'd start reverting to his father's philandering ways if he was left on his own for too long.

9. Laveria has never thought of herself as being at all pretty until she started seeing some of her features in her grandchildren.

10. Before Severin was even thought of, Laveria had aborted a few pregnancies using herbal mixtures. She very nearly aborted Severin as well, but just as she was about to drink the potion, a bird flew in through the chimney and startled her into spilling it. She ended up taking the incident as a sign.
