1. Lorn's ideal landscape involves a waterfall. He wishes there were more of these in Naroni.

2. He is a chronic insomniac and almost never falls asleep before well past midnight, even if he's already been lying in bed for several hours. He doesn't mind so much any more, though, because he finds watching Leara sleep to be comforting.

3. As a ruler, Lorn tries to model himself after his father. Before every decision, he asks himself what his father would have done; if he can't answer that, he is unsure about his decision until he can decide in retrospect whether or not it was a good idea.
