Ten Facts:

1. Ren is fascinated with politics and enjoys discussing current issues with the men. Both her father and her husband recognize this and welcome her to join in on their political forums. Searle often seeks her opinion before making a final decision.

2. She has a knack for writing dirty limericks.

3. She loves riding at a gallop on a clear day. Searle now joins her.

4. Privately, Ren wishes she looked more like her mother, but she doesn't fret much about her looks.

5. Ren can't sing--but she occasionally does anyway.

6. Ren was first betrothed to Searle when she was seven and he was four. She didn't see him too often over the course of their engagement and worried that he wouldn't be mature enough for her; when they started spending a lot of time together in the months just before their wedding, he pleasantly surprised her.

7. She has a slight over-fondness for wine. She's not quite an alcoholic, but it wouldn't hurt if she cut back; she has been trying to do so for her son's sake.

8. Having always had a rather boyish, bony frame, she has actually been happier with her body since having Karlspan.

9. Ren never quite got over her father's remarriage. She makes a point to be polite to her stepmother, but is uncomfortable being around her.

10. While Searle was ill, she'd hoped to have another child within the next few years, but with her husband's health, she wasn't counting on it. Clearly it's not a problem now.
