1. Ren is fascinated with politics and enjoys discussing current issues with the men. Both her father and her husband recognize this and welcome her to join in on their political forums. Searle often seeks her opinion before making a final decision.

Athalia, (1135-1163), was the younger sister of the late Baroness Medea of Tetran, as well as the current Crown Princess of Dovia. She and her sister had a rather stormy relationship, but she was on good terms with their brother Cambrin, and was close to her sister-in-law Princess Holladrin.

Athalia died in October of 1163, giving birth to twins Cambrin and Learianna.

1. Holladrin loved light breezes. She liked to watch as they picked up little leaves and bits of grass and wondered where they'd land.

2. Though she married late, she never felt any pressure to find a husband; her father had told her since she was young that she could marry whoever she pleased, and nothing he did in her early adult years contradicted this.

3. Rudolphus had a thing for her. She was aware of this, but tried to be polite.

4. Although she loved her brother, Holladrin preferred to avoid trips to the castle whenever possible. She did, however, visit a lot more frequently after Jeda started living there.

1. The first man Geneva ever slept with was... Tarien! She was ten at the time. He was twelve. As the years went by, she sort of lost track of her sexual encounters and which ones happened when; Tarien, however, kind of suspects that he might have been her first.

2. She loved the taste of strawberries. Roderick loves them too; this was one of the first things they ever bonded over.

3. Geneva was always a fantastic swimmer.

4. In spite of her long-lasting desire for Dalston, Geneva's favorite lover was actually Aldhein. Severin was a close second, even though they only had the one night together; both Searle and Lonriad get honorable mentions.

5. She always found rodents rather adorable and never thought it was fair that they had such a bad reputation.
